How SaveWise compares loan options

Our comparison records service roles, requirements and available product descriptions. It is a starting point for checking an offer, not a personalised recommendation or a complete market ranking.

The comparison fields

  • Provider identity and official website.
  • Direct lending or a service that matches applicants to lenders.
  • Campaign amount and term where sources can be stated without a known conflict.
  • Eligibility and documents named in the supplied campaign.
  • Questions that need a current lender quote.

Source differences and missing figures

A campaign card is evidence of campaign wording. It is not automatically the latest consumer product page. Where the sources disagree, we explain the uncertainty or omit the disputed figure. We do not average conflicting terms or choose whichever creates a stronger sales claim.

Placement and commercial relationships

The displayed order is not a cheapest-cost or approval-likelihood ranking. Ordinary provider links have not yet been replaced with affiliate tracking links. When an approved affiliate arrangement is activated, the relevant disclosure must describe it accurately; commissions do not determine the customer’s quoted interest.

Examples and editorial decisions

Worked examples use stated fictional assumptions and original explanations. We do not invent borrowers, reviews, success percentages or live activity. Related reading is chosen to help the next decision, including deciding to delay or avoid borrowing.

Frequently asked questions

Does SaveWise issue the loan?

No. SaveWise explains listed products and introduces provider websites. The lender makes the credit decision, prepares the agreement and handles payments. A loan-matching service may be an intermediary before the lender. Check which company is responsible at each stage rather than assuming the first website issues credit.

Are the displayed amounts guaranteed?

No. A campaign or product range describes possible amounts, not the amount available to a particular applicant. The provider assesses its criteria and your circumstances. Check the current product page and complete quote before treating any displayed range as part of your own budget.

How should I compare the cost of two offers?

Compare cash received, all payments, their dates and separately paid charges. Use the same requested amount and similar terms where possible. If the terms differ, show total cost and monthly pressure separately; a smaller instalment alone does not demonstrate a cheaper or more suitable loan.

Can I complete one application on SaveWise?

This version of SaveWise links to provider websites rather than collecting a universal loan application. You review and complete the chosen provider’s process there. Information entered on another website is governed by that organisation’s own terms and privacy notice; read them before sharing documents.

Does browsing a comparison mean that credit is free?

No. Browsing the comparison is free, while borrowing may involve interest, fees and cover charged under the lender’s agreement. A free form or free matching service does not establish free credit. The complete lender quotation is the place to check what you will pay.

Why are some providers not available through a button?

Some campaign conditions need clarification or advertiser approval before SaveWise can publish a promotional placement. A missing placement is not a judgement about the provider or a promise that another option is better. We do not route users through an unconfirmed campaign simply to expand the list.

Can SaveWise promise an approval or payout date?

No. Document checks, assessment, acceptance and transfer are separate stages handled by the provider. A description of an application process cannot reserve funds or remove further checks. Do not commit to a non-refundable purchase on the assumption that a displayed option guarantees payment by a particular time.

What should I do if the repayment does not fit?

Pause before accepting the offer. Compare a smaller expense, a suitable payment arrangement or saving first, where practical. If essential expenses and existing debts already exceed reliable income, additional borrowing may worsen the gap. Verify appropriate support rather than responding to blanket approval promises.
