Amount and dates
Compare the same amount received and the same payment dates. Keep the purchase price separate from the amount borrowed so you can see whether a deposit, delivery charge or installation cost remains outside the loan.
Clear information, checkable inputs and a route to the provider. Here is how to read the comparison tools on SaveWise.
SaveWise brings provider links, practical borrowing guides and spending tools into one place. Use the site to identify the questions you need to answer, then check the product and your own terms on the provider’s website. SaveWise does not issue loans or make a lending decision.
A page about a particular purchase helps you organise its cost. It does not mean that every listed provider offers finance specifically for that purchase. Before applying, check whether the provider’s current product fits your intended use, requested amount and repayment dates.

A provider overview is a route to the official website and a checklist for reading the offer. General product descriptions and campaign briefs are different from a personal quotation. A maximum amount in an advertisement does not establish how much you will receive, and an application link does not establish eligibility.
For the actual comparison, write down the amount paid to you, every scheduled repayment and required charges outside those repayments. Record payment dates, document requirements and any required cover. Ask the provider for a written explanation of an unclear charge before accepting the agreement.
The interactive table uses provider clicks recorded on SaveWise during the current calendar month. Providers with equal totals share a position. Movement shows a change in position; another provider gaining clicks can move a row down even when its own count has not fallen.
The table checks for updates every ten seconds while the page is open and after a tracked click. A click count measures activity on this site. It is not an approval rate, a customer review score or a comparison of prices. The visit counters also measure recorded visits, rather than unique people or issued loans.

Add all scheduled payments and any required fees paid separately. Include a charge once. A smaller monthly payment can accompany more payments, so record the number of instalments as well as their size.
Place repayments beside your expected income dates and existing bills. Use your records instead of assuming that a calculator result establishes affordability. The provider makes its own assessment.
The calculator is an illustrative tool using the inputs you enter. Its monthly model assumes a fixed nominal annual interest rate divided by twelve and equal payments at the end of each month. Separate monthly and upfront fees are added as entered; they are not financed into the loan balance.
The single-repayment model uses simple interest, the number of days entered and a 365-day year. Neither model calculates APR, checks legal limits or includes unspecified insurance and other charges. Read the displayed formula and replace example inputs with the figures in your quote. A provider’s agreement may use a different method or rounding.

The provider buttons open an external website. Check the domain before submitting personal information and read that provider’s privacy notice and terms. The public comparison pages do not submit a universal application on your behalf.
Provider requirements, available products and destination pages can change. Use the official website for the current offer and your written quotation for the final figures. If a SaveWise link or description needs correction, email
No. SaveWise provides comparison pages, guides, calculators and links to provider websites. The provider decides whether to offer you a loan and what its terms will be. Read the legal name and application details on the external website; do not treat a SaveWise table position as a lending decision.
The table order reflects clicks recorded on SaveWise this calendar month. It does not establish which quote is cheapest for your circumstances. To compare cost, obtain written quotes for the same amount and dates, then add scheduled payments and required separate charges. Use those figures rather than the table position.
The site counters show recorded visits, and the provider table shows recorded clicks. Neither establishes an issued loan, a successful application or a unique person. Someone may visit more than once. Use the labels beside each counter when interpreting the figures, rather than assuming that every visit represents a customer.
A page such as loans for a laptop discusses a purchase and ways to compare payment. It does not verify that every linked provider offers a dedicated laptop loan. Check the actual product, permitted use and application criteria on the provider website before relying on that provider for the purchase.
It calculates an illustration using your inputs and its displayed assumptions. It does not contact a lender, check your credit record or predict approval. Fees, insurance, dates and rounding in your actual agreement may differ. Compare the calculator inputs with the written quote, and use the provider’s schedule for contractual repayments.
Mark the comparison as incomplete and ask the provider to identify the charge and when it is payable. Establish whether the instalments already include it before adding it separately. Keep the written response with the quote so that your total remains traceable and you do not count the same charge twice.
The provider link takes you to an external website, where you should read the privacy information and verify the domain before uploading documents. The public comparison page itself does not submit a universal application. If an unexpected message asks you to send documents elsewhere, verify that request with the provider independently.
